Blake Shelton Is Still Head Over Heels for Gwen Stefani
Reveals His Favorite Song of Hers—and Why She Still Amazes Him

Country star Blake Shelton is still just as smitten with his wife, Gwen Stefani, as ever. In a recent appearance on TODAY with Jenna Bush Hager and Erin Andrews, Shelton opened up about his deep admiration—not just for Stefani as his partner, but for her remarkable career.

“I still get butterflies every time I see her,” Shelton admitted.

Promoting his new album, For Recreational Use Only, Shelton couldn’t help but gush about Stefani’s talent and legacy.

“What really blows me away is that I know her as my wife, but when I go to her concerts, I’m like—how is she also that? I’ll never get used to it,” he said with a smile.

He praised her songwriting and longevity in the music industry:

“She’s got this incredible catalog of songs about her life. It’s just amazing to witness.”

A Love Story That Keeps Growing
Shelton and Stefani’s relationship began in 2015, and the couple has since collaborated on more than six songs together. In a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Shelton said:

“I wish everyone could meet Gwen. You’ll be a better person just being around her. She’s magical. One of a kind. It’s like something out of a dream that actually came true.”

The couple tied the knot on July 3, 2021, in an intimate ceremony held in Oklahoma. Their friend and The Voice host, Carson Daly, officiated the wedding.

    Gwen’s Iconic Career
Stefani’s music journey began in the ’80s as the lead vocalist of No Doubt, a ska-pop band that rose to fame in the ’90s with hits like “Don’t Speak” and “Just a Girl.” Their 1995 album Tragic Kingdom went diamond, and the band earned MTV Group of the Year honors multiple times.

Gwen later launched a hugely successful solo career with tracks like “Hollaback Girl” and “The Sweet Escape.” Her achievements include three Grammy Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, awarded in 2023.

A Partnership of Music and Heart
As Shelton continues to share his life and stage with Stefani, it’s clear the admiration runs deep. Whether it’s his favorite of her songs or the way she lights up a room, Blake Shelton remains deeply in love—with both the woman and the artist Gwen Stefani.
