Aiden Ross Stuns With Billie Eilish Cover in Intense Knockout Round on The Voice
The Knockout Rounds on The Voice Season 28 reached new emotional heights as Aiden Ross and Liam faced off in one of the most talked-about performances of the season.
🎤 Two Powerful Performances
Liam took the stage first, performing The Fray’s “Over My Head (Cable Car)” — showcasing his smooth tone, heartfelt delivery, and strong emotional storytelling. His growth throughout the competition was evident, earning admiration from all four coaches.
Then came Aiden Ross, who chose Billie Eilish’s haunting ballad “when the party’s over.” From the first note, the performance was mesmerizing. His phrasing, vocal control, and dynamic range captivated both the audience and the panel — a display of precision and emotion that left the room silent.
🌟 Coaches React
The coaches were unanimous in their praise for both contestants:
Reba McEntire called the pairing “entertaining” and praised their contrasting strengths:
“Liam, your vocal is great, your tone is wonderful. Aiden, your range is crazy.”
Michael Bublé was visibly impressed:
“That was captivating… your performances were so good I threw my pen at Niall.”
Snoop Dogg brought his signature energy, saying:
“Liam, you are growing and growing. You sounded bigger and better… Aiden, when you was singin’, I was stuck like a dump truck. The way you handled that record — you sound like you could win The Voice.”
Niall Horan, Aiden’s coach, summed it up best:
“For the first time in my life, I’ve got nothing to say. Aiden, it’s a masterclass what you did there. Liam, I’m so proud — the growth you’ve shown has been incredible.”
