    • “No One Expected This. When Sheryl Crow stepped barefoot into the spotlight of Bruce Springsteen’s farewell stage, a quiet moment turned into a seismic one. The woman who once opened his shows now walked out like a final chapter he didn’t know he needed. Bruce glanced over, stunned, and murmured, “You didn’t tell me you were coming.” Sheryl just smiled back: “Some goodbyes deserve witnesses.” Their voices wrapped around each other as “Human Touch” shifted into a trembling, heart-heavy “If It Makes You Happy.” Every note felt like a thank-you, every harmony like an old promise being honored. The stadium softened, almost reverent, as time folded in on itself. Then she leaned in with the line he scribbled on a napkin three decades ago — “The light you leave stays in my room.” Bruce froze, eyes shining, whispering back, “I never thought you’d remember that.” The moment didn’t feel like a duet. It felt like two lifetimes bowing to each other. And as the lights dimmed, the curtain didn’t just fall on a concert; it fell on a story fans never knew was still being written… until tonight.

Ella Langley Closes Out Hungover Era With Two Sold-Out, Star-Studded Nights at the Ryman

Ella Langley brought her Hungover album cycle — and her debut headlining Still Hungover Tour — to a thunderous close with two sold-out shows at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium on November 6 and 7. The 26-year-old Alabama native transformed the Mother Church of Country Music into a celebration of collaboration, gratitude, and pure country energy, welcoming an all-star lineup that included Morgan Wallen, ERNEST, HARDY, Gretchen Wilson, Jo Dee Messina, Mae Estes, Kaitlin Butts, and Aaron Raitiere.

    “Somebody Come and Pinch Me…”

Langley, overwhelmed with emotion, took a moment mid-show to reflect on the surreal experience:

“The last two whole days have been somebody come and pinch me… It’s actually been insane. I’m living my best life, I can’t even lie,” she told the cheering crowd.

“The things that have happened in my life, not even over just the last couple of years but this whole journey, have been absolutely insane. I’m just so thankful to the Lord for letting me do this for a living and for the friends He’s given me — they’re the reason I’ve made it this far.”

Across both nights, Langley delivered a 17-song, 90-minute set that balanced her breakout hits with emotional ballads and spontaneous duets, cementing her status as one of country’s most dynamic rising stars.

⭐ Highlights From the Ryman Nights
Morgan Wallen – “Cover Me Up”

The crowd erupted when Langley introduced Morgan Wallen for a surprise duet of Jason Isbell’s “Cover Me Up.” A longtime fan of Isbell, Langley said it was a dream come true:

“There ain’t no better person to come out and help me with this one than Mr. Morgan Wallen tonight.”

Wallen joked about finally joining her onstage after “two whole tours” of convincing, quipping:

“Yeah, it takes a lot more than an award show to get me out to Broadway these days.”

Their harmonies on the emotional ballad drew a standing ovation — and marked another milestone in Langley’s journey after touring with Wallen earlier this year.

    ERNEST – “Loving Life Again”

ERNEST joined Langley for the live debut of their unreleased co-write “Loving Life Again,” penned alongside Devin Dawson. Langley explained the song’s personal roots, born after she took her first real break from touring to rest, read her Bible, and reconnect with family:

“I felt like I had found myself in a way I’d never found myself before… When I got back, Ernest checked on me, asked how I was doing, and I said, ‘Honestly, I’m back to loving life again.’ And just like that, the song fell out.”

Backed by ERNEST on acoustic guitar, the heartfelt performance gave fans a glimpse of what’s to come on her next record.

Gretchen Wilson – “Here for the Party”

In one of the weekend’s most iconic moments, Gretchen Wilson joined Langley to belt out her 2004 anthem “Here for the Party.”

    Langley, visibly emotional, said:

“I’ve played this song every time I’ve ever performed with a full band in my life. To sing it here with one of my heroes — this is just wild.”

Wilson grinned, turning to the crowd and declaring,

“This girl right here is filling them shoes.”

Jo Dee Messina – “Lesson in Leavin’”

Country legend Jo Dee Messina surprised fans by teaming up with Langley for a spirited rendition of her classic hit “Lesson in Leavin’.” The two traded verses and ignited a massive sing-along, earning one of the loudest ovations of the night.

HARDY – “Never Met Anyone Like You”

Langley brought out HARDY, one of her songwriting idols, to debut their collaboration “Never Met Anyone Like You.”

“HARDY is one of my heroes as both an artist and a writer,” Langley said. “This was our first time writing together, and it went so well that we immediately said, ‘Let’s do this again.’”

The powerhouse duet will reportedly appear on Langley’s forthcoming sophomore album.

Kaitlin Butts & Mae Estes – “Cowboy Friends”

Langley also shined a spotlight on her Hungover tour openers Kaitlin Butts and Mae Estes, inviting them back to the stage for a lively performance of “Cowboy Friends.”

“One of my favorite parts of this tour has been getting to bring out some of my favorite artists — mostly women — and showing the world how good they are,” Langley said proudly.

    💫 A Triumphant End — and a Bright Future

With two unforgettable, guest-packed nights at the Ryman, Ella Langley officially closed the chapter on her debut album era with gratitude, humor, and heart.

She may have wrapped the Hungover tour, but if these shows proved anything, it’s that Ella Langley is just getting started — and the next era of her career is already shaping up to be even bigger.
