Megan Moroney Finally Speaks Out
Fast-forward to March, when Moroney graced the cover of Rolling Stone for the first time in her career. During the interview with journalist Tomás Mier, she addressed the viral dating rumors head-on.
She confirmed that both she and Green had indeed been in St. Barts — but insisted it wasn’t what people thought.
“He was individually on his vacation with his friends. St. Barts is a popular place! It’s one of those things where if you know someone on a small island, you’re like, ‘Oh sh*t, you’re here too.’ So it was fun.”
Moroney made it clear that while they did spend time together, the relationship wasn’t romantic:
“Just because we’re hanging out does not mean we’re romantically dating. You know what I mean?”
She even laughed about the impressive detective work fans had done to connect the dots:
“I don’t blame them for doing some FBI research.”

While Moroney’s comments might have seemed like the end of the story, fans aren’t quite ready to let it go. Online discussions continue to pop up weekly, analyzing every hat, location tag, and social media post for potential clues about the pair’s relationship.
