Ella Langley & Riley Green Win 2025 ACM Music Event of the Year for “You Look Like You Love Me”

The 60th Annual ACM Awards celebrated the best in country music on May 8, 2025, and one of the night’s most anticipated honors — Music Event of the Year — went to none other than Ella Langley and Riley Green for their breakout duet, “You Look Like You Love Me.”

A Track That Keeps on Winning
Released in June 2024, “You Look Like You Love Me” quickly became a fan-favorite and a commercial hit. It was Langley’s first and Green’s second No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart, and has since earned massive critical acclaim. The song also took home Single of the Year earlier in the evening, making it one of the night’s most decorated tracks.

Their win in the Music Event category highlights just how special this collaboration has been — a rare moment where radio success, artistry, and emotional connection align perfectly.

    A Competitive Category
The nominees for Music Event of the Year featured some of the industry’s heaviest hitters:

Kelsea Ballerini & Noah Kahan – “Cowboys Cry Too”

Post Malone & Morgan Wallen – “I Had Some Help”

Cody Johnson & Carrie Underwood – “I’m Gonna Love You”

Chris Stapleton & Carly Pearce – “we don’t fight anymore”

Ella Langley & Riley Green – “you look like you love me”

Despite tough competition, Langley and Green’s old-school chemistry and hauntingly honest storytelling helped their duet rise to the top.

A Defining Moment in Both Careers
The win marks a major milestone for Ella Langley, who led the 2025 ACMs with eight nominations, and continues to emerge as one of country’s most promising new voices. For Riley Green, it further solidifies his standing as a modern traditionalist with a growing trophy shelf and loyal fanbase.

    What’s Next?
With two ACM wins and a red-hot duet that shows no signs of slowing down, Langley and Green’s collaboration has become a touchstone moment in modern country music — one that blends vulnerability, vintage influence, and unmistakable vocal chemistry.

👏 Congratulations to Ella Langley and Riley Green on winning ACM Music Event of the Year!
