Famous actress Meghan Markle became royal. As we all know, the former Suits star married Prince Harry in 2020 and left the UK.
The Sussexes are living a more quiet life in the US after being condemned for their many charges against the Royal Family.
Harry and Meghan have several new initiatives, and Meghan has launched her own lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchid. Meanwhile, Harry has taken solo travels abroad and there are reports about their marriage disintegrating.
It has cost Meghan Markle friends and supporters in recent years. Royal expert and Princess Diana’s former friend Tina Brown criticized Meghan this week, and sadly, more is to come.
Another royal expert has criticized Meghan, blaming her.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s US transition has been difficult. Despite having a beautiful home and raising Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, their public image has suffered.
Meghan Markle “upset” by latest marriage rumors
The pair has lost friends due of their interviews and Harry’s book criticizing the Royal Family, and their business efforts have had mixed results.
While Harry may desire to return to the UK, and they have had several solo engagements in recent months, rumors about their marriage persist.
There has been no official confirmation of the rumors. Sadly, a GB News source says Meghan Markle is stressed that the rumors will continue.
“She has really felt the strain in recent weeks, and with all the speculation surrounding her and Harry and their marriage,” the person claimed.
“They haven’t done themselves any favors by doing so many separate events, but this is what they have decided to do as it works best for them as a couple and they both feel they can shine at events close to their hearts.”
The source said, “But it does upset her that, while Harry was getting praised for all of his appearances, she is getting criticised for what she says, what she wears, etc. and it brings back hurtful memories of when she was a royal
They looked whiney on their global publicity tour.
Even though there have been rumors all over the newspapers about Harry and Meghan living somewhat separate lives, the fact that they have decided not to do all work together could be a conscious decision, according to PR expert Ed Coram James.
Speaking to the Mirror, Coram James explained that the Sussexes have had a “distinct brand as a duo for many years. But since the infamous Oprah interview–which basically was the start of the feud with the royals–their brand has become “more toxic” and “commercially untenable.”
The PR expert stated that big brands most likely are careful to throw money at Harry and Meghan to work with them because of it.
“This is because the ongoing confrontation with the rest of the Royal Family, as well as much of Meghan’s family, have made them appear confrontational and combative, their string of commercial projects that haven’t worked out and have led to a sense that they aren’t the best producers. And their worldwide publicity tour made them look whiney, ungrateful, and unconscious to the enormous privilege that they have enjoyed,” Ed Coram James told the Mirror.
“To overcome the obstacles of appearing spoiled, arrogant, immature, attention-seeking, aggressive, fight-picking, hypocritical, and incompetent is very tricky. But, it is achievable. To do it, they need to lean into the exact opposites of these labels. The first step in this always had to be to dissociate themselves from the brand that had achieved such labels in the first place.
The PR expert continued, “When combined, the Sussexes brand is, from a PR perspective, toxic. But, when distinct, they have a true potential of building a whole own brand, with completely different labels. If they succeed to achieve this, then one day they could again reunite companies, and build a new merged brand that works.”
Meghan Markle harshly blasted by royal expert
Meghan Markle shared the news of her new lifestyle business American Riviera Orchid earlier this year. She aims on offering home decor kitchen goods, cookbooks, and also food such as jellies, jams, marmalades, fruit preserves, and edible oils. But although Meghan Markle seems to have a very ambitious goal for her new firm, not everyone is persuaded that she will succeed.
The Diana Chronicles and The Palace Papers author Tina Brown lambasted Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s post-royal careers on The Ankler podcast.
“England will make a career out of trashing Harry. Harry is good at being Prince Harry, Brown remarked.
The sadness lies in the fact that he is the most talented member of the Royal Family being a prince, which is his sole skill. He’s great at it.”
Diana befriended the royal expert and author. Harry and William’s mother died weeks after they had lunch.
Brown was harsh on Meghan. She basically said the Duchess has never had a good idea.
I think Prince Harry is enchanted by Meghan. Her problem is that Meghan has the worst judgment in the world. She excels at making mistakes… Really, she is.”
“All her ideas are crap”
“She’s a perfectionist about getting it wrong,” Brown said. Her issue is her inability to listen. She asks everyone for their input, then ignores it. Does what she wants. Unfortunately, all of her ideas are garbage.”
Harry and Meghan have been criticizing the Royal Family for years. King Charles expelled the Sussexes from Frogmore Cottage days after Harry’s book, Spare, was out, and Prince William is apparently unwilling to talk to or reconcile with his brother.
Whoever caused the situation to escalate doesn’t important. Brown said Prince Harry follows his wife “blindly” on The Ankler podcast.
“In this situation, Harry is the lamb to the slaughter,” Brown said. Meghan impressed him much. She convinced him that she was the clever Hollywood wheeler-dealer who could make them stars and everything. He naively followed her like a child.”
Unfortunately, Tina Brown isn’t the only expert who criticizes Meghan Markle’s journey. Royal analyst Hugo Vickers said the Duchess’ loss of fans and friends after her royal exit “can’t be a coincidence”.
Royal experts believe Meghan Markle “gradually managed to upset everybody”
Vickers told The Sun, “Meghan does seem to have a capacity for losing friends and allies all around the place and Tina Brown, of course, is a very intelligent observer of the scene, and she’s been doing it for a very long time
When Meghan joined the Royal Family, I said she was the first to address the UN, hence she lost me as an ally. She could accomplish so much, but she finally upset everyone, including Tina Brown, which can’t be a coincidence.”
Vickers said she wasn’t “particularly committed” to becoming a senior Royal when she married Prince Harry.
I think she wasn’t committed to the Royal Family. The royal expert noted that marrying Prince Harry raised her status abroad, and people wanted to know more about and from her.
“I think she probably misunderstood quite a lot of things about what it meant to be a Royal Family member, which is complete service and devotion.”
Even if Meghan Markle isn’t the Royal Family’s favorite, she may reveal more about her UK life. Meghan Markle apparently kept a diary as a senior Royal.
Personal journal of Meghan Markle
The Duchess discussed her and Prince Harry’s life in California following their royal divorce in 2023 with The Cut. Meghan remembered her journal being found at Frogmore Cottage and that she didn’t have to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement when she and Harry left the monarchy.
You return and open drawers, thinking, ‘Oh my gosh. Meghan said this was her journal entry.
On True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat, analyst Roya Nikkhah said Meghan’s The Cut interview showed “thinly veiled threats”.
In Meghan’s interview with The Cut, there were subtle threats. She likely hopes it feels dangerous to the Royal Family. Many may say, “We’re used to this by now,” leading to eye-rolling. Nikkah noted that the words, ‘I have a lot to say until I don’t’ and, ‘I’ve never signed anything that stops me from talking’ conveyed a strong impression.
And, of course, the reminder that she keeps a journal, and [her] revelation that, ‘when we came back to Windsor, to Frogmore Cottage for the Jubilee, I rediscovered my journal that I’d left there’—I was astonished that she had left a highly private diary in Windsor rather than taking it back.
Nikkah said, “She’s mentioned a couple of times in the last year or two that she kept a journal, and I think there is a very strong inference that Meghan could write her own memoir.”
A “potential weapon in her back pocket”
Meghan has yet to publish her memoir from her time in the Royal Family, but royal expert Jennie Bond suggests that exposing it may be “in her back pocket.”
“It’s more than two years since she gave that interview, and she has steered clear of Royal Family controversy since,” she told OK!
No doubt, the journal she referenced will remain a weapon in her back pocket if she needs revenge. She has behaved with caution and elegance since Oprah and the documentary series.”
Bond said, “I think she is looking forwards, not backwards and moving on with her life. I don’t think we should prematurely warn about any memoir.”
