Jo Koy Reacts to Taylor Swift’s Viral Response to His Joke About Her and the NFL (Exclusive)
During the 81st Golden Globe Awards, host Jo Koy made a joke about Taylor Swift, commenting on the frequent camera shots of her at NFL games when supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Koy stated, “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift.”
The camera then cut to Swift, who appeared unimpressed, pursing her lips and sipping her drink. In a red carpet interview after the event, Koy described the moment as “cute” and mentioned it was about fewer cutaways. Despite the seemingly chilly response, Koy expressed satisfaction with the hosting gig and celebrated AAPI wins at the awards.
Swift had previously addressed negative reactions to the NFL coverage of her attending Kelce’s games, emphasizing her focus on supporting him.
