Indiana Jones actor Christian Oliver killed in plane crash along with 2 young daughters

Actor Christian Klepser, known by his stage name Christian Oliver, who appeared in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, tragically lost his life along with his two daughters in a plane crash during a holiday in the Caribbean. The incident occurred off the island of Bequia, part of St. Vincent, where the small plane nose-dived into the sea, resulting in the fatalities of all on board.

Christian Klepser had notable roles in films such as Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Speed Racer, and The Good German. Originally from Frankfurt, Germany, he moved to the US as an adult, initially working as a model before transitioning into acting full-time after taking acting classes.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force reported that the 51-year-old actor and his two daughters, Madita (10) and Annik (12), were aboard a small plane that encountered “difficulties” before plummeting into the ocean. The single-engine plane, operated by Robert Sachs, also perished in the crash. The aircraft had taken off from J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm, Bequia, en route to St. Lucia shortly after midday on January 4.

While the cause of the crash has not been disclosed by authorities, it is suspected that issues arose shortly after take-off. Fishermen, divers, and Coast Guard personnel successfully recovered all four bodies from the aircraft, according to a statement from the police.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force expressed condolences to those affected by the tragic incident. The exact circumstances leading to the crash are still under investigation. May Christian Klepser, his daughters, and the pilot Robert Sachs rest in peace.
