Chris Lane and Wife Lauren Shock Fans With Surprise Birth of Baby Girl After Expecting Another Boy
Chris Lane and Wife Lauren Welcome Their First Daughter — Meet Baby Logan Lane! 🎀
A Sweet New Addition to the Lane Family
Country music star Chris Lane and his wife Lauren Lane have officially welcomed their first daughter — and third child — into the world!
The proud parents shared the exciting news on Instagram Friday, posting the baby’s first photo alongside a tender snapshot of Chris holding his newborn little girl. In the caption, they revealed her name and birth date:
“Logan Lane 🎀 11/11 🪽 We love you sweet little girl!”
Within minutes, the comments section overflowed with love and congratulations from fans and fellow country artists including Jay DeMarcus, Hannah Ellis, and Jana Kramer, all celebrating the couple’s growing family.
Baby Logan Lane joins her big brothers Dutton Walker and Baker West, who are no doubt already taking their new role as protective big bros to heart.
The Lanes first shared the news of Lauren’s pregnancy back in May, announcing it in a heartwarming beach video that showed the family enjoying the sunshine while Lauren cradled her baby bump. As the video ended, the couple wrote “#3” in the sand — a simple but sentimental way to reveal their growing family.
Their caption read:
“Party of 5 coming this November! 🤍”
A few weeks later, they hosted a playful gender reveal picnic. Surrounded by cupcakes filled with colored frosting, the family made their guesses — Lauren and the boys confidently predicted another boy, while Chris took the lone “girl” guess.
When the cupcakes revealed pink frosting, everyone burst into laughter and shock.
“I’m in shock!” Lauren exclaimed with a huge smile, realizing her dream of having a daughter had finally come true.
Chris Lane on Becoming a “Girl Dad”
In an earlier interview on The Bobby Bones Show, Chris admitted that while he and Lauren were thrilled as parents of two boys, Lauren had always hoped for a little girl one day — though he wasn’t sure it would ever happen.
“She really wanted a girl eventually, but we weren’t guaranteed that,” Chris said. “I kept saying if we have a third, I know it’s just going to be a boy — all boys run in our family.”
Turns out, fate had other plans. With the arrival of baby Logan, Chris officially joins the club of proud “girl dads” — a title he’s already wearing with pride.
A Family Complete
The Lane family has become one of country music’s favorite sweethearts — balancing fame, fatherhood, and family life with warmth and humor.
Lauren, a former Bachelor contestant turned influencer, often shares glimpses of their life at home — from Chris’s dad jokes to their boys’ playful adventures. Now, baby Logan adds a new layer of love (and pink) to the mix.
Fans have been quick to celebrate with the family, calling Logan’s arrival “the perfect blessing” and “the cherry on top of their beautiful family story.”
As one fan commented perfectly:
“Two boys and one baby girl — it doesn’t get better than that.” 💖
👶 Welcome to the world, Logan Lane!
A tiny new star has joined the Lane family — and country music’s favorite dad just got his sweetest duet partner yet.
