Ella Langley Closes Her Still Hungover Tour with a Star-Studded, Sold-Out Finale at the Ryman Auditorium

    A Triumphant Homecoming

Ella Langley brought her Still Hungover Tour to a spectacular close with two sold-out nights at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium, marking a milestone moment in her fast-rising career. The back-to-back shows not only showcased Langley’s powerhouse vocals and magnetic stage presence but also celebrated her evolution into one of country music’s most thrilling new storytellers and performers.

“Two nights in a row, sold out shows here. Cloud nine feels like an understatement,” she told the roaring crowd. “This is the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do with my life. On my first tour, I opened for Randy Houser, and the last show of that run was right here. That was the last time I played this stage. So we’ve been thinking a lot about how far it’s come and how hard we’ve worked to get here.”

    Setting the Stage on Fire

Langley kicked off the Thursday and Friday night shows with pure energy, launching into “Country Boy’s Dream Girl” and “Better Be Tough”, commanding every inch of the Ryman’s historic stage. Between the big moments, she showed her softer side with emotional performances of “Love You Tonight” and “Girl You’re Taking Home,” proving her versatility as both a vocalist and storyteller.

The crowd roared in unison during massive sing-alongs of her breakout hit “You Look Like You Love Me” and her latest single, “Choosin’ Texas.”

    A Parade of Surprise Guests

Just when fans thought they’d seen it all, Langley turned the Ryman into a country dream lineup.

Gretchen Wilson was the first surprise of the night, charging onto the stage for a rowdy duet of her 2004 anthem “Here for the Party.” The crowd went wild as the two powerhouse women traded verses. Before walking off, Wilson gave Langley the ultimate nod:
“This girl right here is filling them shoes,” she said, referencing the George Jones classic “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes.”

Then came HARDY, who joined Langley for a thunderous live version of their co-written fan favorite “Never Met Anyone Like You.” His trademark rock grit and the signature scream from the studio version sent the audience into a frenzy.

But the moment that brought the house down came when Morgan Wallen stepped on stage. The Ryman shook as the two teamed up for a cover of Jason Isbell’s “Cover Me Up.”

Wallen, grinning, told the crowd: “Yeah, it takes more than an award show to get me back on Broadway.” Langley laughed and confessed she had spent “two whole tours trying to convince him to sing this with me.” Their chemistry was undeniable, and fans immediately began calling for an official studio collaboration.

A Perfect Finale — and a New Beginning

Langley closed out her career-defining weekend with her No. 1 hit “Weren’t for the Wind,” leaving the Ryman buzzing with excitement. Before walking off, she teased what’s next: “Y’all get ready — new music’s coming early next year.”

It was the perfect ending to a whirlwind, sold-out tour — a moment that cemented Ella Langley’s status as one of country music’s most promising new stars and a glimpse of the even bigger chapters ahead.

    Looking Ahead: CMA Awards 2025

Langley isn’t slowing down. Next, she’ll take the stage at the 59th Annual CMA Awards, where she’s among the night’s top nominees and set to perform “Choosin’ Texas.”
