Gracie McGraw Shocked Viewers With a Carnegie Hall Debut So Powerful Even Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Couldn’t Hold Back Their Reactions.

Gracie McGraw Shines at Carnegie Hall — Supported by Proud Parents Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

Gracie McGraw, the eldest daughter of country icons Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, recently achieved a major milestone in her music career — performing on the legendary Carnegie Hall stage in New York City. The performance took place on April 21st, as part of The Great War & The Great Gatsby, a concert within historian-narrator John Monksy’s American History Unbound series.

    A Powerful, Historical Concert

According to its official description, the show was “equal parts concert, suspense, drama, romance, tribute, and exhibition of rare and iconic images and film from the National Archives.”

The evening’s lineup included several acclaimed Broadway talents — Adam Chanler-Berat, Nicholas Christopher, Micaela Diamond, and Diego Andres Rodriguez — with Gracie McGraw joining the cast to deliver a heartfelt performance.

    Tim McGraw Shares His Pride

Both Faith Hill and Tim McGraw were in attendance to support their daughter, and Tim couldn’t help but share his pride online. Posting a photo from their seats, he praised the entire performance — and especially Gracie’s role in it:

“Faith and I went to watch our oldest daughter Gracie perform this show for a PBS special airing on Veteran’s Day,” McGraw wrote.
“It was a beautifully done performance by all, along with so many moving moments of our country, our people and the service of our men in the Great War… of course our Gracie was fantastic!!!!!!”

From The Great War & The Great Gatsby to American Heart in WWI

As Veteran’s Day approaches, the special is finally set to air on PBS under a new title:

American Heart in WWI: A Carnegie Hall Tribute

The televised concert will broadcast on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 8 PM ET.

Gracie’s Stunning Rendition of “My Buddy”

One of Gracie’s standout moments from the night was her performance of “My Buddy” — a touching 1922 ballad once sung by legends like Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, and Gene Autry.

PBS released a preview clip showcasing Gracie’s warm, emotional vocals — a moment that drew praise from viewers and fans alike.

In a post leading up to the broadcast, Gracie teased the performance on Instagram, writing:

“Check us out!” — accompanied by photos from the unforgettable night.

A Star in Her Own Right

Though she grew up in the shadow of two country superstars, Gracie McGraw is quickly carving her own artistic path, blending Broadway flair with a soulful, powerful voice. Her Carnegie Hall performance marks a defining moment — and a glimpse into a bright musical future.
