Everything We Know About CMA Country Christmas 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, the Country Music Association (CMA) is once again bringing holiday cheer with its beloved annual special, CMA Country Christmas. From the hosts to the performers and air date, here’s a full breakdown of what fans can expect from this year’s festive celebration.

📅 When and Where to Watch

The holiday special will air on ABC on December 2 at 9/8c, with streaming available the following day on Hulu and Disney+.

Filming took place at the Fisher Center on October 8, and the CMA has been teasing the event through social media and its official website.

🎤 Hosts: Jordan Davis & Lauren Daigle

This year’s CMA Country Christmas will be hosted by Jordan Davis and Lauren Daigle, both of whom are also set to perform. The pairing promises a warm blend of country and soulful holiday spirit — much like last year’s hosts, Trisha Yearwood and Amy Grant, who dazzled audiences with duets like “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and “Sing Your Praise to the Lord.”

    🎶 Star-Studded Performance Lineup

This year’s lineup brings together some of country’s biggest names and special guests from across genres:

    Lauren Daigle

    Jordan Davis

    Riley Green

    Lady A

    Little Big Town

    Parker McCollum

    Megan Moroney

    Preservation Hall Jazz Band

    Susan Tedeschi

    Derek Trucks

    Bebe Winans

Expect classic Christmas favorites, heartfelt duets, and plenty of festive surprises.

🏆 Before the Holidays: The 2025 CMA Awards

Before the Christmas special airs, fans can look forward to the 59th Annual CMA Awards, which will be broadcast on November 19 on ABC.

This year’s show will be hosted by Lainey Wilson, stepping into the role solo after co-hosting alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning in 2024.

Top nominees include Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, and Megan Moroney, each earning six nominations. The Entertainer of the Year contenders are:

    Lainey Wilson

    Cody Johnson

    Morgan Wallen

    Luke Combs

    Chris Stapleton

Historically, the CMA Awards have also included sneak peeks of CMA Country Christmas during commercial breaks — so fans tuning in might get an early holiday treat.

🎄 A Celebration of Music, Joy, and Holiday Spirit

CMA Country Christmas 2025 promises to continue the tradition of celebrating holiday classics with a country twist — mixing soulful carols, heartfelt performances, and the warmth that defines the season.

Grab a cozy blanket, pour some hot cocoa, and mark your calendar for December 2 — it’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!
