Post Malone Shuts Down Broadway for Grand Opening of His New Nashville Bar, Posty’s Bar

Nashville’s Lower Broadway turned into one massive street party when Post Malone officially opened the doors to Posty’s Bar — and in true Posty fashion, he did it big. The superstar drew a crowd of more than 30,000 fans, closed down Broadway for the night, and threw a free concert featuring surprise appearances from Lainey Wilson, Dierks Bentley, and Brooks & Dunn, complete with free food and drinks for everyone.

    A Night to Remember

The 30-year-old chart-topping artist, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, kicked off the grand opening celebration alongside Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell, Metro Police Chief John Drake, District Councilman Jacob Kupin, and Director of Nightlife Benton McDonough for a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the bar’s 3rd Avenue entrance.

“This is a new chapter for me completely, and I’m so honored that everyone came out,” Posty told fans from the red carpet. “Drinks are on me tonight. Food is on me tonight. Whatever you want — please come in, hang out, and have a great f**king night. I love you very, very much.”

    He later added,

“Posty’s represents a new era for me and how I connect with my fans. This place is about having a kick-ass time, leaving your lonelies at the door, and finding a friend inside.”

A Massive Free Concert on Lower Broadway

Following the ceremony, fans poured into Broadway for a free outdoor concert, where Post Malone performed a full set of country covers and collaborations on the largest stage ever approved for the historic street.

Backed by his live band, Posty surprised the crowd with renditions of country hits including:

    “I Never Lie” (Zach Top)

    “That’s My Story” (Collin Raye)

    “Amarillo Sky” (Jason Aldean)

“Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer” (Billy Currington)

    “Ticks” (Brad Paisley)

Midway through the night, he brought out Dierks Bentley for “What Was I Thinkin’” and Lainey Wilson for their duet “Nosedive.” To close the show, Brooks & Dunn joined him for “Neon Moon,” “Brand New Man,” and a special tribute to Toby Keith with “How Do You Like Me Now?!”

“Tennessee, how the fk are we feeling tonight?” Posty shouted to the cheering crowd. “I opened up a bar right there, and I figured the best way to kick this motherfker off was with some of my favorite country songs. Thank you to Nashville for letting me shut down Broadway a little bit!”

Fans Celebrate With Posty — For Free

Inside the sprawling 26,000-square-foot venue, fans were treated to complimentary food, drinks, and live music from Bobby McClendon, plus karaoke in the basement.

Guests also took photos with Post Malone’s Madame Tussauds wax figure, which will remain on display at the bar until October 19. The lifelike replica, wearing the Tom Ford outfit from Posty’s 2022 Saturday Night Live debut, took nine months and 20 artists to create.

    A New Landmark on Broadway

Located at 305 Broadway, next to Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar and Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge, Posty’s Bar is operated in partnership with TC Restaurant Group, the team behind some of Nashville’s biggest celebrity venues, including Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen and Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa.

“It’s not every day that you get to work with an artist as dynamic, versatile, and genuine as Post,” said TC Restaurant Group VP Grant Burlingame. “We wanted the grand opening to match that energy — and including all of Nashville was the only way to do it.”

    The bar’s multi-level layout features:

Six bars and three live music stages

    A full-service dining room

A VIP artist lounge with karaoke

A rooftop stage with views of the Batman Building and Lower Broadway

The food menu includes hearty favorites like BBQ ribs, cowboy ribeyes, sandwiches, and salads — plus late-night bites from the Third Avenue entrance, offering quick comfort food like Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches and grilled cheese.

A New Era for Post Malone

The grand opening comes on the heels of a landmark year for Post Malone. His debut country album F-1 Trillion debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and he recently wrapped his Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll.

He’s already working on his second country record, which he describes as “more traditional.” According to Post, he’s already finished 35 songs for the project.

“This bar, this music — it’s all about connection,” Post said. “I just want people to feel good. That’s what this is all about.”

Posty’s Bar is officially open now at 305 Broadway, welcoming fans from around the world to raise a glass — or a red cup — with Nashville’s newest honorary country star.
