Zach Bryan & Gavin Adcock Nearly Come to Blows at Oklahoma Festival
Tensions ran high at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, last month when country stars Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock were caught in a heated confrontation that nearly turned physical.
A viral video shared on social media shows Bryan and Adcock exchanging angry words from opposite sides of a barbed wire fence. Moments later, Bryan can be seen climbing over the fence and jumping down toward Adcock before security intervenes to separate the two.

The Confrontation
As security held Bryan back, Adcock backed away from the scene. The brief altercation quickly spread across social media, with fans shocked to see the usually reserved Bryan so visibly angry.
Adcock later posted the clip himself, captioning it:
“When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown. Eat a Snickers, bro.”
In a follow-up post, Adcock explained why he chose not to engage further with Bryan:
“No artist that cares about their fans is going to fight right before their set, missing going on and disappointing fans that spent way too much money to be there. I wasn’t even mad, didn’t even have a reason to fight him.”
Gavin Adcock Speaks Out on the “Dumb Blonde Podcast”
Adcock later opened up about the incident during an appearance on Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde Podcast. He said that while the physical confrontation upset him, what angered him the most was how Bryan had allegedly provoked him earlier in the day.
According to Adcock, the tension started when Bryan shouted his name during a performance with Gabriella Rose — the pair were performing their duet “Madeline.”
“While performing ‘Madeline,’ he started out by yelling, ‘GAVIN ADCOCK – F*** YEAH,’” Adcock explained. “I’ve only ever been super nice to Gabriella. I’m a big fan — I love the way she sounds — and that just rubbed me really, really wrong that day.”
Adcock accused Bryan of trying to “sabotage” his upcoming performance and said that when he saw him standing at the fence, he immediately knew Bryan was “looking to mess with him.”
Aftermath and Reaction
Despite the drama, Adcock admitted the incident has had an unexpected side effect: his streaming numbers and social media engagement have skyrocketed in the weeks since.
“My engagement and Spotify listeners have gone way up,” Adcock said, suggesting that the altercation brought new attention to his music.
As of now, Zach Bryan has not publicly commented on the confrontation.
