Cole Swindell Joins Brandon Lake On Stage In Atlanta For Powerful Worship Moment

“What if we all talked to Jesus like a friend, talked to our friends about Him, and didn’t stop ’til we got everybody in?”

That’s the question at the heart of Cole Swindell’s new single, “Make Heaven Crowded,” released on September 26 in the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s tragic death. The song has quickly resonated with fans, signaling a growing faith movement among country and Christian artists alike.

On Saturday, October 4, Swindell experienced a full-circle moment when Christian artist Brandon Lake invited him to join the King of Hearts Tour stop in Atlanta, Georgia — Swindell’s home state.

    A Special On-Stage Collaboration

Midway through Lake’s set, the worship leader turned to the crowd and said,

“Would you all please give the warmest welcome to my new good friend Cole Swindell, y’all?”

As fans erupted in applause, Swindell took the stage. With Lake accompanying him on acoustic guitar, the country star performed “Make Heaven Crowded” — his stirring tribute to faith, purpose, and eternal hope.

When the song ended, Lake grinned and told the audience,

“Alright, so I’m gonna make him sing one of mine.”

Together, the two launched into a heartfelt duet of Lake’s newest single, “When A Cowboy Prays.” Their voices blended seamlessly, filling the arena with a mix of country soul and gospel fire that left the crowd visibly moved.

“You Could Literally Feel Jesus In The Room”

Reflecting on the moment, Swindell shared his gratitude in an Instagram post the next morning:

“It would’ve been a blessing just to witness that, but for you to invite me to share my new song with YOUR sold-out crowd in my home state meant the world to me.”

He went on to describe the night as something far greater than a concert:

“It’s more than a show… It’s a spiritual, emotional experience that I’m still not over. You could literally FEEL Jesus in the room all night.”

    The King of Hearts Tour

Brandon Lake’s King of Hearts Tour is currently sweeping across the country in support of his fifth studio album of the same name, featuring tracks like “That’s Who I Praise” and the crossover hit “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Jelly Roll.

Lake’s shows have become known for their electric worship energy — something Swindell echoed after joining him on stage.

    A Message That’s Spreading

Swindell, who recently became a father in August, has spoken openly about how the song “Make Heaven Crowded” is connecting with families and children.

“Seeing kids singing along… that’s what gets me,” he shared. “If a song like this helps them learn about faith, then that’s the greatest gift music can give.”

From his heartfelt performance in Atlanta to the growing reach of his new single, Cole Swindell’s message is clear — he’s using his platform to bridge country and Christian audiences with one powerful mission: to make heaven a little more crowded.
