Clint Black Cancels Montana Concert Due to Flu, Fans React with Mixed Emotions

Country music legend Clint Black, known for decades of chart-topping hits and live performances, was forced to cancel his June 1st concert in Helena, Montana after coming down with the flu. The 63-year-old singer shared the news just hours before the show was scheduled to begin, prompting a wave of mixed reactions from fans.

“Cancelled: Clint Black — Helena, MT. Unfortunately, Clint Black has been hit with the flu, and his concert scheduled for tonight… is cancelled,” read the official announcement shared on social media.

While many fans were understanding, sending the artist well-wishes and urging him to rest and recover, others expressed frustration over the late notice—especially those who had traveled or made special plans to attend the show.

Still, the majority of comments on Black’s Facebook post struck a sympathetic tone. “Get well quick. Sorry Helena will be missing a most awesome concert,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Hope you feel better. Drink lots of fluids.”

Black is expected to return to the stage on June 6 in Madison, Wisconsin, continuing a robust 2025 tour schedule that extends into November. The Grammy-winning artist, whose career spans over four decades, remains a fan favorite and a staple of the country music scene.

While sudden cancellations are never ideal, especially for excited ticket-holders, most fans seem to agree: health comes first.
