Megan Moroney Shines with Sparkling Guitar and Keith Urban Tribute at the 2025 ACM Awards

At the 60th ACM Awards, country star Megan Moroney brought her signature flair — and her beloved glitter guitar — back to the spotlight for a showstopping appearance that had fans buzzing.

    A Big Night for Megan
Nominated for both Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year (Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine)), Moroney had plenty to celebrate. Though the Female Artist title ultimately went to Lainey Wilson, Megan still stole the spotlight in her own unforgettable way.

    The Sparkle Returns
Taking the stage with her classic sparkly guitar and dressed in a sleek white jumpsuit, Megan delivered a powerful, emotional performance of Keith Urban’s 2006 hit “Stupid Boy” — a nod to Urban’s recent Triple Crown achievement at the ACMs. Her rendition blended grit and grace, honoring Urban’s legacy while putting her own soulful stamp on the song.

Fans took to social media immediately:

“Very Female Artist of the Year of her.”

    “Queen.”

    “Loving the sparkle!!”

    Tribute Fit for a Legend
Moroney wasn’t alone in honoring Urban. She joined forces with Chris Stapleton and Brothers Osborne in a collaborative performance celebrating Urban’s rare Triple Crown win — earned by taking home trophies in New Artist, Artist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year categories during his career.

While she didn’t walk away with a trophy this time, Megan Moroney proved once again she’s a powerhouse on the rise, blending storytelling, stage presence, and undeniable talent with every appearance.

✨ And yes — the glitter guitar is here to stay.
