The latest tax proposal from President Trump, which was presented by Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary for the White House, promises to bring assistance to Americans who are in the middle class while also removing loopholes that have long favored the ultra-wealthy, such as hedge fund managers and owners of sports teams.
It is the intention of this plan to eliminate taxes on gratuities, Social Security benefits, and overtime pay in order to alleviate the financial pressures that are placed on service workers, retirees, and those who clock in to work extra hours. Among the most important elements are the elimination of tax loopholes, such as the carried interest loophole, and the reduction of the corporation tax rate for domestic production to 15%.
