Harold was 72 years old when what should have been an ordinary motorcycle ride to a medical appointment turned into an experience that deeply affected him.
According to his wife, he was stopped by police over concerns about his motorcycle’s exhaust while traveling to a scheduled appointment at a veterans’ medical facility.
During the stop, Harold was instructed to lie face-down on the pavement while officers secured the scene. His wife later said he found the encounter especially difficult because of his age, arthritis, and prior military service.
The incident left him physically uncomfortable and emotionally shaken.
