‘The Voice’ Four-Chair Knockout: Jazz McKenzie vs. TeoRamdel Leaves Michael Bublé Stunned and Speechless
Season 28’s Knockouts delivered one of their most electrifying battles yet when Team Bublé’s four-chair-turn artists — Jazz McKenzie and TeoRamdel — went head-to-head in a showdown that left the coaches dazzled and Michael Bublé visibly shaken by the impossibility of his decision.
In the Knockout round, teammates face off with their own song choices in a final chance to prove who deserves a spot in the Playoffs. No Saves. No Steals. One stays — the other goes home. And for this matchup, both singers swung big.
With Grammy-winning musician Zac Brown serving as this season’s Mega Mentor, Jazz and Teo each received expert guidance before stepping into the ring. And when the leaked performance finally aired, it became clear why this pairing made the entire panel sit forward.
Jazz chose Smokey Robinson’s classic “Cruisin’,” delivering a smooth, effortless performance that showcased her technical mastery. Teo countered with a daring, reimagined take on Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life,” bringing charismatic movement and an unmistakable star quality to the stage.
The coaches erupted with praise.
Snoop Dogg didn’t hold back, launching straight into applause.
“Bravo! Magnifico! Perfection,” he said. “Teo, that was superstar stuff. And Jazz — you’re wrong for doing a Smokey Robinson song like that. You rewrote it, you devoted and quoted, and that is noted. Michael Bublé, it’s Jazz.”
Niall Horan was equally stunned.
“Teo, you challenge yourself every time, but you’re always Teo — and you do Teo very well. Jazz, you’re arguably the best singer on the show. It makes me sick how effortless you make it look.”
Reba McEntire praised both competitors.
“Jazz, that was wonderful. I’ve been in awe of you since the Blinds. Teo, the choreography, the power, the arrangement — I’ve never heard a Bon Jovi song sung like that before.”
Then it was time for Michael Bublé, who seemed genuinely rattled.
“Teo, I know how hard you worked, and you sang it beautifully. Jazz… God’s light radiates through you.”
And with that, the most difficult decision of his season hangs in the air.
The winner of this Knockout — and the artist who moves on to the Playoffs — will be revealed Monday night.
The Voice airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, streaming next day on Peacock.
