He brought 300 Thanksgiving meals and a heart wide open, walking through cold corridors that had once crushed him, handing plates and words of hope to every inmate he met. Eyes widened, heads lifted, and for a fleeting, fragile moment, the harsh steel bars felt softer. “You’re not forgotten… you’re never forgotten,” he whispered, meeting gaze after gaze, remembering all too well the loneliness and despair each man carried. Some broke down. Some held tears silently. Some just nodded, hearts quietly stirring. By the time he left, the heavy doors shut behind him, but the echo wasn’t the same — it carried warmth, second chances, and a reminder that even in the darkest places, humanity can shine.

Ella Langley Scores a Third Week at No. 1 in the UK — and the Momentum Is Starting to Look Unstoppable

Ella Langley is having the kind of year most rising stars only dream about. This week, her latest single “Choosin’ Texas” locked in its third straight week at the top of the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, solidifying her as one of the most dominant new voices on the international country scene.

From November 21–27, the track pulled an impressive 1.39 million impressions across 105 spins, beating out Cody Johnson’s fan-favorite “The Fall” by a wide margin. It’s the kind of runaway performance that signals not just a hit — but an artist entering the upper tier of country’s new generation.

Released in October, “Choosin’ Texas” has been building steam at record speed. Its warm, vintage-leaning sound and easy confidence make it feel like something pulled from the “classic country” shelf, while still hitting with the polish and attitude of Langley’s modern style. Coming fresh off her acclaimed hungover era, fans and industry insiders alike are already asking the same question: Is Ella gearing up for a new album? She’s been spotted in and out of studios over the last few months, and paired with the success of her HARDY collaboration “Never Met Anyone Like You,” all signs point toward something big brewing.

The rest of the UK Country chart saw solid movement, with Josh Ross’ “Hate How You Look,” Russell Dickerson’s “Worth Your Wild,” and Thomas Rhett & Niall Horan’s “Old Tricks” rounding out the Top Five. But the biggest surprise of the week came from Carly Pearce, whose new single “Dream Come True” surged from No. 63 to No. 19 — a massive 210% jump, marking the week’s most explosive gain.

Several fresh tracks also entered the Top 50, including Cody Johnson’s “Travelin’ Soldier” at No. 44, Zach Top’s “Honky Tonk Till It Hurts” at No. 46, and Dasha’s “Work On Me” debuting at No. 50.

But the headline belongs to Ella Langley. Three weeks at No. 1 in one of country music’s fastest-growing international markets is no small feat — and it feels like just the beginning. With new music quietly taking shape behind the scenes, she’s not just holding the top spot… she’s staking her claim.
