The Voice Season 28 Blind Auditions End with a Powerful Performance — and a Winner Prediction
The Blind Auditions for Season 28 of The Voice have officially wrapped, and Tuesday night’s finale episode delivered some of the most memorable performances of the season. Coaches Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and Snoop Dogg each closed the night with 12 artists on their teams, setting the stage for the next round of competition.
Aaron Nichols Closes Out the Blinds with a Show-Stopping Performance
One of the final contestants to take the stage was Aaron Nichols, a country singer from Bakersfield, California. With his soulful, “gravelly” tone and undeniable grit, Nichols delivered an emotional rendition of Chris Stapleton’s “Cold.”
Reba McEntire was the first to hit her button, flashing Nichols a big thumbs-up as he pointed back at her. Moments later, both Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg followed suit, each turning their chairs and bracing for a battle to win over the country powerhouse.
Michael Bublé Predicts the Winner
After Nichols finished his performance, Michael Bublé offered one of the night’s boldest statements — a full-on winner prediction.
“Man, that voice, that gravel, that grittiness,” Bublé said. “Reba McEntire is going to win The Voice with this dude. And at least I want to be able to say I turned my chair and threw my hat into the ring.”
Niall Horan agreed, adding:
“There’s soul in there for days.”
Snoop Dogg, meanwhile, tried to sway Nichols by appealing to their shared California roots — but ultimately, the decision was clear from the start.
Team Reba Gets Its Final Member
When it came time to choose, Nichols didn’t hesitate:
“My wife would never let me live it down if I didn’t pick Reba,” he joked.
Reba celebrated the addition of her final team member, calling Nichols the perfect fit to round out her roster.
“That was my last artist to fill my team,” she said. “That gravelly voice — it’s sexy, it’s tough, it’s everything I love.”
What’s Next
With the teams officially locked in, The Voice now heads into the Battle Rounds, where contestants will go head-to-head under their coaches’ guidance. If Michael Bublé’s prediction holds true, fans may already have caught a glimpse of this season’s eventual winner.
