But the outfit provoked discussions about more than just fashion. Her outfit selection was seen by some viewers as “evidence” in favor of the long-standing conspiracy theory that Melania Trump utilizes a body double when she appears in public.
Some proponents of the body double idea have been saying for years that Melania left Donald Trump long ago and was replaced with a doppelganger. Some associate the theory with Donald Trump’s purported assassination attempt last year.
