    Since he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, the cherished actor Michael J. Fox has been enduring a heartbreaking battle with the condition.

    Over the course of 1998, he boldly disclosed his condition, so becoming a formidable advocate for the awareness and research of Parkinson’s disease. The recent demise of his mother, Phyllis, at the age of 92, contributed to the personal agony that he was experiencing. He drew courage from his mother.

    Phyllis was a treasured presence in Fox’s life, and she was appreciated for her unflinching optimism and timeless wisdom. The steadfast support that she provided became his anchor in a sea of misery when he confessed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at the age of 29. She was a beautiful example of a life spent without concentrating on losses and constantly finding solace in the bright aspects of life.

    When Phyllis was a child growing up in the military, she had a significant influence in the process of imparting priceless life lessons. It was because of her influence that the family was able to adapt, which is an essential quality when dealing with challenges.
