Man Gives Salary to Woman with Child Asking for Money for a Ticket — Next Day, a Large White Limousine Pulls up to His House

The Transformational Potential of Courtesy: An Act of Generosity by a Stranger and Its Unbelievable Return
After a demanding day, Greg, a forty-year-old construction worker, headed to the train station on a November evening that was cold. Weary, he considered just heading home to his two children, Jamie and Alex, and his wife, Diana. Greg’s life was straightforward; he worked hard to support his family, but that evening one unplanned meeting altered everything.

Greg saw a woman carrying a small child standing by the exit as he was navigating the packed station. She looked tired and worn, as though life had lately thrown her a curveballs. She was well-dressed. Her voice quitched when she met Greg’s face, which displayed a mix of hope and hopelessness.

“Excuse me, sir,” asked She said quietly. ” Would you kindly let me borrow some for a ticket? I only have to get home to see my family.

Greg nodded slowly. He had met individuals in need before, but he hardly ever volunteered beyond simple compassion. But something about this woman’s genuineness spoke to him. Following a little silence, he volunteered to pay her and her son Matthew lunch at a local café.
