Opinion: Barron Trump’s life has turned into a tragedy and it’s his mother’s fault

Not all that unusual at all, Barron Trump will always be connected to his father. Barron’s existence was never destined to be “normal,” because Donald Trump became the king of real estate in New York and subsequently the star of The Apprentice. Yes, the Trumps had elite-level security, and by all reports, Melanie Trump has done all in her can to shield her son from criticism.

All changed, though, when Barron’s father took office. Although Melania has kept Barron away from the limelight and Secret Service personnel have always kept him under protection, the truth remains that he is the son of possibly the most well-known man on the planet.

From the outside looking in, it’s excellent that Barron is kept away from paparazzi reporters and those wishing to negatively influence him. Unfortunately, he paid the most; one could say that very few elements of his life have really been his choice. It’s about time he gets to make his own judgments after he turns 18.

It made natural that Barron Trump was not seen very often at the White House during his first term. Her main concern is always her child; she has always put him first. Barron was preparing to start high school when the family relocated to Florida following the 2020 election loss, and I believe I can speak for all of us when I say it must have been an exciting moment for him.

First of all, you have more freedom, maybe a chance to meet your first love, and maybe start attending events with people you have befriended over the years – some of whom might be lifelong friends. This is why reading the latest Daily Mail piece after Barron Trump’s supposed friend and former pupil’s interview at Oxbridge Academy High School upsetting in some respects.

    Baron Trump
Said friend clarified that Barron “never attended football games or dances” and that the younger son of Donald Trump did not meet anyone outside of school or go on dates. Obviously, security for the child of a former president is first priority, hence Secret Service agents trailed him everywhere. All said, Melania Trump seems to control every action, and although well-intentioned, her actions to keep Barron out of the limelight could backfire.

Barron came of age in March. Nevertheless, his mother’s office produced the statement that he had turned down offers to be a Florida delegate to the Republican National Convention even after his eighteenth birthday.

Melanie wants to shield her kid, understandably, but her degree of control is spiraling out of control. If Barron is not even permitted to turn down an invitation personally, how will he be able to make his own decisions about how to conduct his life in the future? He can vote; therefore, he ought to be able to speak for himself?

Barron needs to be able to live his life the way he wants to, even if his father naturally wants his younger son to avoid doing anything that could discredit his presidency. This regulated environment he is living in could become poisonous.

It’s time to let him live his life.
Imagine Barron having Secret Service agents at his side during high school and then at New York University. It is sad. It is impossible for me to see him wanting them hiding in the shadows every time he would wish to leave, say, for a date or even a party.

Ultimately, though, maybe that is exactly what his mother yearns for. It’s time to let him have the life he desires. Otherwise, for what cause is life to exist?
