Liam Payne, a former member of the boy band One Direction, passed away at the age of 31 after falling from the balcony of a hotel apartment located on the third floor in Buenos Aires.
The awful news was confirmed by the state police in Argentina late last night. According to sources, the celebrity had fallen into the courtyard of the CasaSur Hotel, which is located in the Palermo region of the capital city of Argentina.
Later on, the city ambulance service provider, Alberto Crescenti, issued a statement in which he disclosed that Payne had fallen around 40 meters (131 feet) and sustained “severe injuries that were incompatible with life.”
“The alarm was raised at 5.04 p.m. local time, stating that a person was lying in an internal patio at Casa Sur,” Crescenti said. “The notification was received.”
At 5:11 o’clock in the evening, an ambulance arrived, and the man was pronounced dead.
