    • “A FLEETING REMARK — BUT THE ENTIRE STAGE OF PRIVATE LIFE LIGHTS UP.” Under the flashing lights of the cameras and the sound of rolling suitcases on the cold stone floor of LAX, Rick Springfield emerged as if he had just been pulled onto an impromptu Hollywood stage. No intro music, no script, he delivered a short but sharp statement, echoing through the noisy space like a guitar note cutting through the silence. That moment suddenly transformed into a post-divorce monologue, where Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban — though absent — were still placed under an invisible spotlight. While the legal documents coldly closed with numbers and clauses, that advice carried the raw rhythm of rock and roll: frank, bold, and unvarnished. The crowd stopped, the cameras held their frames, and the statement spread like a controversial chorus. Not an official performance, but it was a moment when the stage lit up — where a brief remark was enough to stir up all of Hollywood.

Rick Harrison, the founder of Pawn Stars, is devastated by the sudden death of his son Adam Harrison, who died on Friday (January 19).

Adam, 39, died tragically as a result of an overdose, according to his representative, Laura Herlovich, who told the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Adam’s death was initially reported by TMZ, and the circumstances surrounding the overdose, including when and where it occurred, are unknown. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has launched an investigation into his untimely demise.

The Harrison family is mourning Adam’s death, and Herlovich issued a brief statement on their behalf, saying: “Our family is deeply devastated by Adam’s passing. We ask for privacy as we mourn his passing.”

Adam was Rick Harrison’s second kid from his first marriage to Kim, and he is the younger brother of Corey Harrison. Rick later remarried Tracy, with whom he has a son, Jake.

Adam did not appear in the popular reality series Pawn Stars, which stars Rick and Corey, although he did work at the family’s shop, Gold & Silver Pawn, before the show debuted in 2009. However, he had just stopped being actively involved in the pawn store.

After learning of Adam’s overdose, Rick turned to Instagram to pay respect to his son. Rick captioned a photo of himself smiling with Adam at a bar, “You will always be in my heart!” “I love you, Adam.”

Adam had a close relationship with his older brother, Corey, who also shared his grief on Instagram. Corey’s tweet included a poignant image of him clutching a snapshot of the two brothers playing in a bathtub as children. His caption read: “Wax wtf, I will always love you, bubba.”

Adam’s untimely death has stunned the Pawn Stars family and fans, highlighting the devastating impact of substance abuse and the effects it can have not only on the addict but also on their loved ones.

We are offering our condolences and prayers to the Harrison family during this awful time.
