    Dolly Parton and Lainey Wilson: A Musical Collaboration to Remember

    Lainey Wilson first met Dolly Parton at the 2023 ACM Awards, where Parton presented her with the Female Artist of the Year award. Wilson expressed her awe at meeting Parton and delivered an inspiring speech about hard work and dedication.

    Around the time of the ACM Awards, Parton revealed that she and Wilson had recorded a duet, remaking The Judds’ “Mama He’s Crazy” for a tribute album released on October 27, 2023. The official audio clip of their duet has garnered over 227,000 views on YouTube.

    The collaboration continued when Parton and Wilson performed Parton’s iconic song “I Will Always Love You” during Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala Special on CBS on February 21, 2024. Wilson described the experience as a dream come true and shared a clip of their performance on social media.

    Fans were overwhelmingly positive in their reactions to the duet, with many praising the harmonious blend of their voices and expressing a desire for more collaborations between the two artists in the future.
