Whitehead began his Broadway journey with his debut in the play “The Affair” in 1962. He graced the Broadway stage in various other productions, including “The Harlequin Studies,” “My Fair Lady,” and “The Crucifer of Blood.” In recognition of his contributions to the arts, Trent University awarded him an honorary degree in 1978. Two years later, he received a Tony nomination for his outstanding performance in “Camelot.”
