What began as an ordinary drive turned into a memorable encounter when a motorist noticed a stranger stranded along the side of the road. The man had apparently run out of money for gas and had no way to continue his journey.
Rather than simply driving past, the motorist stopped to see if he could help. After learning what had happened, he paid for the stranger’s fuel, expecting nothing in exchange. It was a relatively small gesture, but for someone stuck far from where he needed to be, it made all the difference.
Just before the two went their separate ways, however, the stranded man reached into his belongings and pulled out a small green object. He handed it to the driver as a thank-you.
