Naomi Johnson’s family just got a little bigger.
On Tuesday night, January 13, the singer-songwriter shared the joyful news that she has welcomed her second daughter. Johnson announced the arrival with a heartfelt post on social media, featuring a carousel of photos from the hospital that captured intimate moments from welcoming another baby girl alongside her husband, Martin Johnson, the frontman of Boys Like Girls and The Night Game.
“And just like that the Johnson 3 turned to the Johnson 4,” she wrote. “We welcomed another healthy, beautiful baby girl into the world.”
Johnson also took a moment to thank everyone who supported them through the journey, expressing deep gratitude for the friends and loved ones who helped bring their daughter into the world.
“We are so in love, grateful, and blessed beyond measure,” she added.
The pregnancy initially caught fans by surprise when Johnson revealed the news during an appearance on the God’s Country podcast in September 2025. Speaking with hosts Dan and Reid Isbell, she shared her excitement with pure joy, calling the experience a gift and embracing “round two” of motherhood.
The newest addition joins the couple’s first daughter, who was born in 2023. While the baby’s name hasn’t been announced yet, Johnson has never been shy about sharing her admiration for her husband as a father.
“He is the best girl dad in the world,” she previously said. “This tough rock ’n’ roll guy covered in tattoos, sitting there watching Cinderella with his little girl.”
Johnson has also been open about the realities of childbirth. After the birth of her first child, she shared that what began as a planned home water birth turned into a hospital delivery after 60 hours of labor and unexpected complications. Despite the challenges, she described the experience as a powerful rite of passage and expressed pride in the journey that led to a healthy baby.
Just weeks before welcoming her second daughter, Johnson reflected on 2025, calling it nearly impossible to summarize in words. Still, she emphasized gratitude, faith, and the joy of motherhood — while looking ahead with excitement.
“God is great, life is so good, and children are the greatest gift one can ever receive,” she wrote. “I welcome 2026 with a full heart, anticipation, curiosity, and an eagerness for the growth it will bring.”
As Naomi Johnson steps into this next chapter as a mom of two, fans are celebrating right alongside her — eager to see not only her growing family, but also what the new year may hold for her music.
