CHRISTMAS GOES OFF THE RAILS as Bunnie XO Turns a Classic Carol Into Pure HOLIDAY CHAOS.

Bunnie XO is kicking off the holiday season the only way she knows how—by turning a Christmas classic into pure comedy gold.

Bunnie recently released a tongue-in-cheek version of the beloved holiday hit Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer, produced by Stonebaby Sounds and featuring comedian Matt Mathews. The duo lean fully into the absurdity, singing the iconic chorus together with over-the-top enthusiasm.

The song arrives alongside an equally outrageous music video, packed with familiar faces—including Bunnie’s husband Jelly Roll and longtime friend, viral internet personality Demps.

The video opens on a loud, dysfunctional family gathered around the table for a chaotic holiday meal. Demps stars as Grandma, who quickly becomes the center of attention as food flies, tempers flare, and drinks pour a little too freely. After storming out of the house in a drunken huff, Grandma’s night takes a wild turn—she’s struck by Santa’s sleigh and his reindeer. Making the moment even more ridiculous, Jelly Roll appears as Rudolph himself, complete with a glowing red nose, leading the sleigh.

From there, the storyline jumps to Grandma’s funeral at a Tennessee funeral home. What should be somber instantly becomes unhinged as Bunnie XO and Matt Mathews run the service while lip-syncing their parody version of the song.

Just when it seems like the story has wrapped up, Grandma jolts awake in her casket, locks eyes with Rudolph-Jelly Roll sitting in the crowd, and storms out of the funeral—leaving her stunned family behind.

Bunnie, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, shared that the project felt like the perfect way to celebrate Christmas.

“What better way to represent the holidays than with this gem?” she said. “Everyone knows it, and Matt is absolutely hilarious—he’s one of my best friends. I couldn’t imagine doing it without him.”

The video was filmed and edited by Andy Pollitt and features several people close to Bunnie, including friends, family members, her team, her dog Chachi, her daughter Bailee Ann, along with appearances from Demps and Jelly Roll.

Bunnie also explained that Demps was the obvious choice to play Grandma. “She’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever known,” she said. “She’s a star, and I can’t wait for the world to fully see that.”

As for Jelly Roll’s reaction to playing Rudolph? Bunnie says he didn’t hesitate. “He laughed and said, ‘Can’t wait.’ He secretly loves my Christmas songs every year—this might be number five or six now.”

This parody continues Bunnie XO’s tradition of comedic holiday releases, following past tracks like “Bring Your Package To Me (Christmas Screw),” “Mista Grinch,” “Shimmy Down My Chimney,” “12 Days of Rizzmas,” and “Come Here Cowboy.”

She’s previously explained that her reason for releasing funny Christmas music is simple: spreading laughter. “The internet can be a scary place,” she said. “If I can make someone laugh for a couple of minutes, that makes my heart full.”

The festive release also comes just ahead of a major new chapter for Bunnie. She recently announced her first-ever book tour in support of her upcoming memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, arriving February 10, 2026, via HarperCollins.

The tour will bring her story from “pages to stages,” with stops in New York City, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Each ticket includes a copy of the book, which chronicles her journey from growing up in Las Vegas trailer parks to building a life in Nashville—an unfiltered, modern-day rags-to-riches story told entirely on her own terms.

Between viral Christmas chaos and a deeply personal memoir on the way, Bunnie XO is proving once again that she knows exactly how to mix humor, heart, and unapologetic authenticity—especially during the holidays. 🎄
