“OUR PLAYLIST IS REALLY GOOD” Michelle Randolph Gets Just As Hyped As Fans Hearing Her Favorite Artists On Landman.

Of course the cast has great taste in music—they’re part of a hit Taylor Sheridan series.

Season 2 of Landman premiered on November 16 and once again proved to be a massive success. Featuring a powerhouse cast that includes Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, and Michelle Randolph, the show wasted no time making history.

The Season 2 premiere became the biggest season or series launch ever for Paramount+, pulling in more than 9 million viewers in just the first few days—more than triple what the show’s debut episode drew in 2024.

So yes, Taylor Sheridan officially has another undeniable hit. And if you’ve watched any of his projects, you already know how carefully he curates music for every episode. Yellowstone famously helped spotlight a wave of modern country artists, and while it wasn’t the sole reason for country music’s recent surge in popularity, it absolutely played a huge role.

That same attention to music carries over to Landman—and apparently, it doesn’t stop when the cameras shut off.

Michelle Randolph, who plays Ainsley Norris (the on-screen daughter of Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris), recently shared that the cast listens to plenty of country music while filming.

According to Randolph, the unofficial anthem of Season 1 was A Bar Song (Tipsy) by Shaboozey—a bit unexpected given Sheridan’s usual soundtrack style, but undeniably catchy. She added that her personal playlist closely mirrors the music featured on the show, which makes watching it even more fun.

She also admitted she gets excited hearing artists she genuinely loves pop up in episodes—especially Zach Bryan.

“We played a lot of ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy).’ That was kind of our Season One song,” she explained. “Season Two—I can’t think of one specific song, but again, it’s all country. We’re in Texas, and it fits the vibe of the show. Our playlist is really good, and honestly, a lot of it is the same music I already listen to. When I hear Zach Bryan pop up, I’m like, ‘Great taste.’”

And she’s not wrong. This season alone has featured tracks like i blame the bar by Ella Langley, Bad Medicine, Mean Old Sun, Wasting Time, and classic staples like La Grange.

Even if some viewers aren’t fully sold on every storyline or side plot, one thing’s undeniable—the soundtrack is absolutely dialed in. No misses there.

And honestly? It’s pretty cool knowing the cast is just as into the music as the audience is. Randolph’s full playlist is probably elite—and I’d love to see it.
