Cooper Alan is officially a first-time father.
The country star shared the joyful news on Tuesday night (Dec. 16), announcing the arrival of his daughter, Coley Frances Cooper. His post included a series of touching snapshots from Coley’s first days — moments in the hospital, settling in at home, and even meeting the family Goldendoodle, Weezie.
“Coley Frances Cooper 💗 Everything we’ve prayed for, dreamed about, & then some! Thank you Jesus!” he wrote, prompting an outpouring of love from fans and fellow artists celebrating the new addition to the family.
Earlier this fall, we spoke with the North Carolina native about his debut album Winston-Salem and his anticipation of becoming a dad. Even then, Alan couldn’t hide his excitement.
“I’m so excited,” he said at the time. “I didn’t realize how ready I was until we found out Hally was pregnant. We started planning everything, talking about the future… we’re just super stoked. I’ve got nieces and a nephew, so I’ve been around kids — now I’m excited to have one of my own.”
He admitted there’s plenty to learn, but with his wife, Hally, by his side, he feels grounded and confident.
“I have no idea what I’m doing, but my wife really does,” he joked. “She’s incredible and such a rock for us. With her leading the way, I’m more excited than nervous.”
Alongside the new baby, Alan also recently released his first full-length album — a project shaped by the personal transitions he’s experiencing. One standout track, “Hard Acre,” captures the clarity that comes with stepping into adulthood and parenthood.
“When you’re almost 30 and about to have your first child, you start seeing everything differently,” he said. “Life moves so fast. You hear people say that, but you don’t truly get it until it hits you. The song is about soaking in the moments that matter, especially those early years with your family.”
With a debut album and a newborn daughter arriving almost at once, Cooper Alan is entering one of the most meaningful seasons of his life — and he’s embracing it wholeheartedly.
