Alex Pretti was hospitalized with unexplained broken ribs, left in silence, and then began to realize he was being watched. He entered the screening room simply to observe, but gradually began tapping his foot to the rhythm of each song, applauding after each performance, and finally shedding tears. Little Big Town Shines During the 16th Annual CMA Country Christmas

The holiday season officially kicked off in Nashville as CMA Country Christmas returned for its 16th year, delivering another unforgettable night of festive cheer and country-music magic. Filmed in Music City and airing December 2 on ABC, the annual special once again blended timeless Christmas classics with standout performances from some of the genre’s biggest stars.

This year’s celebration was hosted by Jordan Davis and Lauren Daigle, who guided viewers through a night filled with holiday warmth and musical joy. The lineup featured a range of incredible artists, continuing the tradition set by last year’s hosts Trisha Yearwood and Amy Grant, whose show included performances from Cody Johnson, Ashley McBryde, Jon Pardi, CeCe Winans, for KING + COUNTRY, Carin León, and Brittney Spencer.

⭐ Little Big Town Delivers a Holiday Highlight With “If We Make It Through December”

One of the most memorable moments of the night came courtesy of Little Big Town, who took the stage for a moving performance of “If We Make It Through December.” With their signature harmonies and emotional depth, the group proved once again why they are a holiday-season favorite.

Their appearance on CMA Country Christmas is just one part of a very festive year for the group. In 2024, Little Big Town hosted Christmas at the Opry, and this December they’re headlining a three-night run of Christmas shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium from December 2–4.

“It’s always been a dream of ours to play Christmas shows at the historic Ryman. It’s finally happening! Please come spend your holidays with us. 🎄❤️”

The run quickly became one of Nashville’s most anticipated holiday events.
