Jelly Roll’s Transformation Continues — This Time With a Completely New Look
If you’ve been following Jelly Roll over the past year, you already know his health journey has been nothing short of incredible.
The “Save Me” singer has dropped more than 200 pounds through clean eating and consistent exercise. He even celebrated hitting under 300 pounds—a milestone he hadn’t seen since middle school.
At this point, his physical transformation is dramatic enough that he’s almost unrecognizable. But recently, Jelly Roll took things a step further.
Bunnie XO Reveals Jelly Roll’s Major Change
In a new Instagram video, his wife Bunnie XO revealed that Jelly Roll shaved his beard for the first time in a decade.
“You guys, I have been with my husband for almost 10 years, and I have never seen this man without facial hair. Not once,” she said at the start of the clip.
She explained that after finishing a photo shoot earlier that day, Jelly Roll decided it was finally time to go clean-shaven—especially now that he’s lost so much weight and wants to show off his jawline.
“Look at that freaking jawline… we wanna see that jawline, right ladies?” Bunnie joked as he stood beside her.
The Shaving Process — and Bunnie Trying Not to Look
Jelly Roll stepped off-camera to start shaving, while Bunnie tried to avoid peeking so she could react naturally later.
“I’m not looking… I’m not looking. He keeps trying to show me and I’m not looking until it’s all done,” she said, laughing that he eventually “kicked [her] out of the room.”
When she finally reentered, she accidentally caught glimpses—first when he trimmed it into a goatee, and later into a “cop mustache”—and she admitted she loved both looks.
But when the clean-shaven reveal finally happened, Bunnie was stunned.
Hands over her mouth, she managed:
“The total naked face… it’s not terrible…”
Then both burst into uncontrollable laughter.
Surprising Friends and Family
Jelly Roll and Bunnie then went to surprise people who had no idea this makeover was happening.
Their daughter Bailey’s reaction:
“Oh my God, I’m gonna cry.”
A friend on FaceTime reacted with:
“What the f*? I am scared!”**
Bunnie didn’t show his smooth face in the video, saying she would leave that reveal up to her husband.
Jelly Roll Finally Shows His Clean-Shaven Face
After several days of suspense, Jelly Roll finally posted a video unveiling his shaved look.
Before discussing his three Grammy nominations, he jokingly addressed the obvious:
“By now you’ve probably figured out that I look like a ninja turtle,” he said with a laugh.
He admitted that part of the reason he grew a beard originally was to hide the effects of severe obesity:
“It was just easier to cover up what was happening.”
