“I JUST WANT TO HUG THAT LITTLE GIRL” — Bunnie Xo Shares Her Past Mugshots, Opens Up About Growing Up On The Streets Of Las Vegas, Surviving Abuse And Addiction, And Hints At An Emotional Revelation That Has Everyone Talking

Bunnie Xo Opens Up About Her Past and Shares a Message of Hope

Bunnie Xo, the wife of country star Jelly Roll, has never shied away from discussing her past — and now, she’s using it to inspire others.

From Homeless Teen to Empowered Entrepreneur

Bunnie revealed that she grew up on the streets of Las Vegas, becoming a homeless runaway at just 14 years old. By 21, she was heavily involved in the adult industry and struggling with abuse and addiction.

“Survived abuse, addiction, and built my entire life off being the girl who was never good enough,” she shared on her Dumb Blonde podcast.

Over the years, critics have sometimes labeled her look as “too trashy for country music,” but Bunnie has proudly fired back:

“Sometimes God uses the most unlikely people to be used as vessels to show what transformation and unconditional love is.”

    Sharing Her Past Mugshots

As she prepares for the release of her memoir, “Stripped Down” (February 2026), Bunnie took to Instagram on November 4 to post a carousel of her old mugshots — each accompanied by raw reflections.

She explained that she had her lawyer locate the photos and was overcome with emotion seeing them again:

“Looking at the first one, I just couldn’t believe what a baby I was. I was 19, already living on the streets of Vegas for five years… By then I’d already lost three babies.”

Bunnie described the sadness in her eyes across the photos:

“The fact that I’m smiling in some of these will let you know just how disconnected I was from myself and my emotions. I look at those photos now and just want to hug that little girl.”

“I Was the Problem and the Solution”

Reflecting on her turning point, Bunnie said she eventually became “sick” of her own chaos and knew she needed to change.

“I had to stop pointing fingers & realize, two things can be true: I was the problem & the solution.”

Now, she’s open about still learning and healing, but her message to others is clear and uplifting:

“I’m not ashamed of these photos. They remind me who I used to be, & how far grace has carried me. If you’re in your own rock-bottom season right now… you can rebuild. You CAN rewrite your story. You are never too far gone for God to find you, love you, & lift you out.”

From homelessness to healing, Bunnie Xo’s journey is a testament to redemption — and proof that even the darkest past can lead to a powerful, purpose-filled future.
