Tequila Trouble: Fan Hops Onstage During Riley Green’s “There Was This Girl” Performance
Riley Green concerts are known for their rowdy, good-time energy — but this weekend, things got a little too lively when one tequila-fueled fan decided to take the stage herself.
The Moment That Broke the Internet
During a recent live show, Green was mid-performance of his breakout #1 hit, “There Was This Girl,” when a woman suddenly walked right up onstage, waved to the crowd, and looked ready to join the show.
Within seconds, Riley’s security guard calmly appeared and escorted her off the stage — a move that was equal parts professional and hilarious given how casual her “entrance” was.
The moment was captured and posted on social media by country artist Annie Bosko, who revealed that the stage-crashing fan was none other than her sister, Katie.
“Tequila Did It” — Annie Bosko Explains
Annie shared the now-viral clip with a caption that perfectly summed up the situation:
“She said she wanted to ‘support my career’… didn’t know she meant onstage. FYI Riley didn’t invite her up — tequila did… and there was definitely more than one in her hand. God help me. Apologies team Riley.”
So yes — the fan wasn’t just any random concertgoer; she was family. Which somehow made the whole thing even funnier.
Katie’s Side of the Story
Katie herself joined the fun in the comments, playfully defending her actions:
“I was trying to support his career!! Also he had no backup dancers and you know how much I love being a backup dancer. Can I be your backup dancer?”
Fans flooded the post with laughing emojis and applause, calling it one of the most harmless and entertaining stage invasions they’ve seen. The clip quickly spread across TikTok and Instagram, with many noting that the security guard handled it “like a true pro.”
No Harm, No Foul — Just a Funny Memory
The moment lasted maybe 20 seconds total, but it became one of those instantly memorable concert mishaps that fans love. Riley reportedly took it in stride — a little surprised, a little amused — before jumping right back into the song.
As Annie put it, “Tequila really does make everything sound like a good idea.”
Riley Green: Hitting the Road Again in 2026
Riley’s not slowing down anytime soon. After wrapping up his 2025 Damn Country Music run, he’s gearing up for his massive “Cowboy As It Gets” 2026 Tour, kicking off April 16 in Southaven, Mississippi.
The tour will feature a stacked lineup of special guests, including Justin Moore, Drake White, Mackenzie Carpenter, Hannah McFarland, Adam Hood, and Zach John King, depending on the city.
Tour Highlights: Cowboy As It Gets 2026
April 18 – Nashville, TN – Bridgestone Arena
May 8 – Alpharetta, GA – Ameris Bank Amphitheatre
June 20 – Wantagh, NY – Jones Beach Theater
August 14 – Hartford, CT – The XFINITY Theatre

Tequila, backup dancing, and a Riley Green concert — sounds like a classic country night to remember.
Maybe next time, though, Katie should just throw a bra like everyone else and save herself a chat with security.
