Country star Zach Bryan is being labeled “creepy” and “obsessed” after seemingly mocking his ex-girlfriend, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, on social media.
LaPaglia, who was recently announced as part of Season 4 of Special Forces and is preparing for her reality show Barstool Beach House, posted a TikTok video on Wednesday. In it, she admitted she hadn’t had time to get her nails done or shop for clothes, saying, “I’m not gonna have time to get my nails done. Let’s go to the store and see if I can find some stuff.”
Just minutes later, Bryan shared an Instagram Story from bed asking, “Anyone know the best acrylic nail tech near downtown or west village NYC?” — the same city where LaPaglia lives.
Fans Call It “Creepy”
The timing raised eyebrows, and LaPaglia’s followers didn’t hold back.
“ZB asking for a nail tech in NYC within minutes of you posting this when you said you need to get your nails done is SCARY,” one person wrote.
Another comment, which LaPaglia liked, read: “He just had to do something because you are excited about the Special Forces announcement. He’s so creepy.”
Others accused Bryan of being “obsessed,” while one fan bluntly advised, “Get a restraining order.”
LaPaglia responded to the growing flood of comments by reminding fans she has Bryan blocked:
“Guys, I love you sm but I have him blocked for a reason, it really does set me back seeing him. Let’s leave his face and crash outs on his own social media❤️❤️.”
A History of Public Feuding
Bryan, 29, and LaPaglia, 26, dated for a year before splitting in October 2024. Their breakup has since fueled ongoing public drama.
LaPaglia previously accused the singer of emotional abuse and claimed he offered her $12 million to sign an NDA — a deal she says she turned down.
Earlier this week, Bryan posted a video of himself burning a Barstool Sports flag. LaPaglia responded with a sharp Instagram Story of her own: “Nurse he’s loose again,” paired with a screenshot of a web search for “how do I file a restraining order.”
A New Girlfriend Sparks More Criticism
Adding to the controversy, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy blasted Bryan for dating Samantha Leonard, a woman many believe looks strikingly similar to LaPaglia.
“This guy’s an absolute psychopath,” Portnoy said. “He went and built a Brianna 2.0 in the lab.”
Reddit users echoed the sentiment, calling the resemblance “actually crazy” and comparing the situation to Kanye West dating Bianca Censori after Kim Kardashian.
