Riley Green Makes a Little Girl’s First Concert Unforgettable in Durant, Oklahoma

At his Choctaw Grand Theater show in Durant, Oklahoma, Riley Green created a memory that one young fan — and the crowd — will never forget.

Midway through the set, he spotted a little girl named Alivia in the front row and invited her up to help sing the title track from his debut album, “Different ’Round Here.” A security guard lifted her onto the stage, where Riley knelt down to explain the plan: she’d kick off the final chorus so the whole arena could join in.

Unfazed by the thousands of eyes on her, Alivia lit up the stage with pure joy. She led the crowd with confidence, grinning ear to ear beside one of her favorite artists. Her charisma was undeniable — and for a few minutes, she stole the show.

    A Dream First Concert

As it turns out, this was Alivia’s very first concert. Earlier in the day, she and her family had bumped into Riley at the resort, and he later recognized her in the audience. After the performance, he invited them backstage, gifting Alivia a hat with a personalized note, along with an autographed setlist.

Her aunt shared photos and video of the night on Instagram, calling it “a dream come true” that went far beyond what they could have imagined.

“First we run into Riley Green in the casino and get to meet him briefly, then during her favorite song, he pulls her on stage to sing, then they give her an autographed setlist, but to top it off they invited us backstage… this girl’s dreams were surpassed beyond belief!”

    Why Country Music Moments Matter

Fans online have been quick to celebrate the moment, with many pointing out how these kinds of genuine interactions are what make country music so special. It was a reminder of the time Miranda Lambert once pulled a young girl onstage to sing “All Kinds of Kinds.”

For Alivia, it wasn’t just a concert — it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that could inspire her future. And for Riley Green, it was another example of why he’s quickly becoming one of the genre’s most beloved performers.

Who knows? Maybe he found himself a new background vocalist that night.
