Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum Lead Star-Packed ‘Band Together Texas’ Benefit for Flood Relief

In response to the devastating floods that have swept across Texas, country stars Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum are taking action. The two Texas natives have joined forces with a lineup of fellow homegrown talent—including Cody Johnson, Ronnie Dunn, and Kelly Clarkson—for a powerful benefit concert titled Band Together Texas.

A Night of Music and Healing

Scheduled for Sunday, August 17 at Austin’s Moody Center, the event will raise funds for The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and the Central Texas Community Foundation—two leading charities focused on flood recovery and long-term rebuilding.

The concert promises an all-star Texas lineup: Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Cody Johnson, Ronnie Dunn, Kelly Clarkson, Ryan Bingham, Wade Bowen, Dylan Gossett, Jack Ingram, Lyle Lovett, Lukas Nelson, Jon Randall, and the Randy Rogers Band are all slated to perform.

    Lambert: “Texans Help Texans”

Lambert, known for her strong roots in the Lone Star State, shared that this concert is about more than just the music—it’s about coming together in a time of immense need.

“One of the things I love about both our artist community and our community in Texas is that we show up for one another, especially in times of such great need like folks in my home state are facing after the flood,” Lambert said. “That’s what we want to do with Band Together: Texans helping Texas.”

    More Than Music

The evening will also feature appearances and support from well-known Texans including Matthew McConaughey, Dennis Quaid, former Longhorns coach Mack Brown and players Colt McCoy, Vince Young, Emmanuel Acho, baseball great Roger Clemens, and television personality Chris Harrison, among others.

In addition to musical performances, the show will honor first responders and flood victims. Emotional stories of rescue, sacrifice, and resilience will be shared live on stage by emergency personnel.

    The Mission Behind the Music

Band Together Texas supports The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a Kerrville-based nonprofit dedicated to flood relief. The July 4 flood has already claimed over 130 lives, with more than 100 people still missing. Entire communities have been upended, with homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods swept away.

This benefit aims to support families not just now—but through every stage of the long road to rebuilding.

    McCollum: “We’re Texas Strong”

Parker McCollum echoed Lambert’s message with heartfelt sincerity. “This place and these people are my community,” he said. “Even though so many families are facing the unimaginable, we’re Texas strong. Miranda is inspiring in both her music and her compassion, and I’m honored to be part of this effort.”

    How to Get Tickets

Tickets will first be available via presale. Fans can register now at bandtogethertexas.com through Monday, July 21 at 5 p.m. CT. Presale codes will be emailed on Tuesday, July 22, with presale beginning Wednesday, July 23 at 10 a.m. CT. Any remaining tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, July 25 at 10 a.m. CT.

    Powered by Texas-Based Partners

The event is being made possible thanks to support from H-E-B, Kendra Scott, Ponchos Outdoors, Tecovas, and Whataburger.

In a time of heartbreak, Band Together Texas is setting the stage for hope—one song, one story, and one act of compassion at a time.
