Riley Green Names Country Music’s “Most Attractive”—and Gives Us a Glimpse Into His Type

With the CMA Awards landing around the same time as People Magazine’s annual “Sexiest Man Alive” issue, it’s only fitting to ask some of country’s biggest stars who they think holds the title of most attractive in the industry.

Tim Hurley posed the question to a range of artists ahead of the 58th Annual CMA Awards, and the responses were as entertaining as they were telling. Ella Langley, for one, still stands by Alan Jackson as her top pick.

Meanwhile, Luke Combs—who landed a spot on People’s “Sexy at Every Age” list for age 34—reacted in classic Luke fashion: with humor and humility.

“I was very, heavily surprised. Heavily, heavily surprised,” Combs said, laughing. “I thought it was maybe like, ‘Most cheeseburgers eaten this year,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, well, that could make sense.’”

He joked about releasing an album titled Redefining Sexy, describing it as celebrating guys who fall asleep on the couch mid-football game. “If that’s sexy, I’m your guy,” he added.

But it was Riley Green who turned heads with his answer. Often called one of country’s most eligible bachelors, Green gave a subtle nod to his type when asked the question—and fans were quick to catch on.

“That’s tough,” he said, pausing. “But maybe Carrie Underwood.”

Not exactly a shocking answer. Carrie’s been the gold standard of country glam for years—grace, powerhouse vocals, and yes, famously toned legs. It didn’t take long for the internet to light up with approval. And for fans who bear any resemblance to the blonde icon, well, this might be the best bit of insight into Green’s preferences they’ve heard in a while.

It didn’t go unnoticed either—some joked there might be a rise in Carrie lookalikes at future Riley Green concerts.

While fans respected the answer, several felt Green should’ve claimed the title himself. One commenter wrote, “Not me screaming, ‘IT’S YOU, RILEY. IT’S YOU!’” Others playfully teased, “He don’t know he’s beautiful,” and “That’s him.”

Even some were hoping for a different answer altogether: “My heart broke when he didn’t say Ella—like, really? She is your soulmate.”

Still, others suspected Riley played it safe. “Carrie is sooo beautiful, but deep down… it feels like the safe choice.”

One thing’s clear: Riley Green might have dropped a name, but he stirred up a whole lot more than just conversation.

On a sun-drenched Father’s Day stage, Carrie Underwood and her young son sang a duet that no one expected – and would never forget. As her little boy sang, his voice trembling but full of emotion, Mike Fisher watched from the front row, clearly moved. When the final line – “Your love is my song forever” – rang out, the entire stadium fell into stunned silence before erupting in thunderous applause. That moment of pure love, sung by son to father, became a memory that will resonate in everyone’s hearts long after the music has died down.
