Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham Share Cryptic Messages — Are Fleetwood Mac Planning Something Big?
For over five decades, fans have been captivated by the bittersweet magic of Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham — a love story that ended long ago, but whose echo still lingers in every harmony they ever sang together.

Though they broke up in 1976, their musical bond in Fleetwood Mac never faded. Now, in a move that has set social media ablaze, both icons have shared cryptic, matching posts—sparking wild speculation that something major is on the horizon.

    A Cryptic Exchange
On Thursday, July 17, Stevie Nicks posted a handwritten message on X (formerly Twitter) reading:

    “And if you go forward…”

Just 30 minutes later, Lindsey Buckingham posted a photo of his own handwritten note:

    “I’ll meet you there.”

Fans instantly recognized the connection. These lyrics are from “Frozen Love” — a song from their 1973 album Buckingham Nicks, released before they joined Fleetwood Mac.

    Mick Fleetwood Joins the Conversation
Adding fuel to the fire, drummer Mick Fleetwood posted a video just a day earlier of himself listening to “Frozen Love.” After removing his headphones, he reflected:

“Unbelievable. The marriage of Stevie and Lindsey… It’s all in the song. It’s in the music that played on for so many years. It’s magic then, magic now. What a thrill. What a thrill. Amen.”

Both Stevie and Lindsey liked the post.

And the fans? They’re spiraling — in the best way.

    What Could It Mean?
The Buckingham Nicks album has never been digitally remastered or officially re-released. Could the posts be hinting at a long-awaited remaster?

“OMFG BUCKINGHAM NICKS REMASTER??” one fan wrote.
“Don’t toy with us. We’re fragile.” said another.

Others are daring to hope it’s something even bigger — maybe a reunion, or a tribute marking 50 years since the 1975 Fleetwood Mac album, which introduced Stevie and Lindsey to the world with hits like “Rhiannon” and “Landslide.”

While Christine McVie’s passing in 2022 left a deep hole in the band’s iconic lineup, the remaining members — Stevie, Lindsey, Mick, and John McVie — are still here.

Could they be preparing one last chapter?

For Now, Only Silence — But Heavy With Meaning
As of Friday, July 18, no official announcement has followed. But the symbolism, the timing, and the shared words speak volumes — not just to devoted fans, but to anyone who’s ever believed in the kind of musical connection that transcends time and heartbreak.

    Until then, we wait…

And if they go forward, we’ll meet them there.
