Ella Langley Buys Dream Lakefront Home in Alabama to Recharge and Stay Grounded
Ella Langley is celebrating more than just her second No. 1 single—she’s officially a homeowner. The rising country star recently purchased a peaceful lakefront property in her native Alabama, describing it as her personal retreat from the fast-paced life she leads in Tennessee.
Speaking with Audacy’s Katie Neal, Langley shared that the house is close to her family and features a horse barn and stunning lake views—perfect for moments when she needs to reset.
“I think I’ll always have to live in Tennessee in some way, but Alabama’s home. It’s less than four hours away, so it’s easy to get to,” she said.
Back to Her Roots
No matter how far her music takes her, Langley says heading back to Alabama helps her reconnect with who she truly is.
“It brings me back to who I am at my core every time I go,” she said. “That kind of clarity is so important for songwriting and staying in the right headspace.”
Thanks to the help of her business team, buying her first home wasn’t overwhelming—something she’s grateful for.
“I’ve honestly enjoyed the whole thing,” she added. “My management handles all the tough stuff. I just say yes or no and trust them to figure it out.”
A Simple Celebration
Rather than splurging wildly after her career began to take off—first with her duet “You Look Like You Love Me” featuring Riley Green in 2024, and more recently with her solo hit “Weren’t For The Wind”—Langley has focused her money on building her career.
“I’m still saving up for a tour bus,” she shared. “And I really want to add a sixth band member onstage. That’s how I treat myself these days.”
A Promise Kept
Another recent milestone came not from the charts, but from a promise fulfilled. Langley surprised her younger sister, Katie, with a graduation trip to Hawaii—something she’d vowed to do years ago if she ever made it big in music.
“She’s eight years younger than me, and I told her, ‘If I can afford it when you graduate, I’ll take you to Hawaii,’” Langley said. “She even painted a Hawaiian flower in her high school parking spot!”
The singer kept that promise over this past Fourth of July, taking Katie and some friends on the dream trip. It marked a full-circle moment from her early days playing bar gigs with just a guitar and a tip jar.
“It’s wild to think about how far things have come,” she said. “From those small gigs to now being able to say, ‘Surprise, we’re going to Hawaii.’”
More Milestones Ahead
With a growing list of achievements and big dreams still on the horizon, Ella Langley continues to carve her path with gratitude, humility, and purpose—one meaningful milestone at a time.
