Ella Langley Opens Up About Mental Health Battle: “The Brightest and Darkest Day of My Career”

Country breakout star Ella Langley had the night of her life at the ACM Awards—8 nominations, 5 wins—but behind the glowing spotlight was a personal storm.

In a candid interview on The Scotty Kay Show, Langley revealed that despite her success, she’s been struggling deeply with her mental health.

“I won’t lie, this last week has been probably one of the toughest mental health weeks I’ve had in a long time,” she shared. “Which is crazy, because so many good things are happening. So many things I’ve prayed for and dreamed about.”

Langley added that mental health challenges run in her family, and she wants to break the silence so others know they’re not alone.

“Just because I might seem like I’m on top of the mountain right now, it doesn’t look like that all the time.”

    Leaning On Faith
On the God’s Country podcast, Langley also opened up about her growing faith, saying:

“God has chosen you… I have gotten so close with Him in these past few months.”

She added, “I’m really excited about where I’m going next. I’m really just letting God take the wheel.”

For Langley, faith isn’t just a talking point—it’s the anchor guiding her through both career highs and emotional lows.

Her vulnerability has struck a chord with fans, offering a reminder that even at the peak of success, mental health matters. And that sometimes, the strongest thing an artist can do—is speak the truth.
