Gracie McGraw Is the Eldest Daughter of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, one of country music’s most beloved couples, tied the knot in 1996. Just a year later, they welcomed their first daughter, Gracie, on May 5, 1997. Their second daughter, Maggie, followed in August 1998, and the youngest, Audrey, arrived in December 2001.

All three McGraw daughters clearly inherited their parents’ creative spark—two of them are even carving out careers in the entertainment industry. Gracie now lives in New York and dreams of making it to Broadway. She’s already appeared in an off-Broadway production and even performed at Carnegie Hall. Audrey, the youngest, recently announced she’ll be opening for Brandi Carlile and has released her debut single—a cover of Neil Diamond’s “I Am… I Said.”

Maggie, also musically gifted, was in a band during high school but is currently pursuing a career in Washington, D.C.

The three sisters recently joined their famous father on stage during the first-ever Music City Rodeo, sharing a memorable moment as a family.

Gracie McGraw Celebrated Pride Month by Embracing Her Identity as “Queer”

June marks Pride Month—a time dedicated to honoring the LGBTQIA+ community. Gracie celebrated by sharing a message on her Instagram story that read, “Everyone Get More Gay Now!!!!!” She added her own words: “Happy freaking pride I love being queer.”

The post quickly made waves, prompting headlines that Gracie had “come out” publicly. In response, she returned to Instagram Stories to offer some clarification.

“Hello all! It has come to my attention that some tabloids have taken an Instagram story I posted yesterday and used it as clickbait saying I’ve ‘come out,’” she wrote. “Let me be VERY clear here… I’ve been an out and proud queer, bisexual woman and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have and will always be very vocal about my support of LGBTQIA+ rights and the community. But thank you so much to these tabloids for shedding light that it’s Pride Month!”

She continued, “So many people out there don’t have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity, but just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you!!!”

Gracie ended her message with a heartfelt note: “Check on your people and keep safe out there. Give love to each other.”

Tim and Faith have always shown strong support for their daughters. Most recently, Tim celebrated Gracie’s 28th birthday with a touching post:

“Can’t believe this little bit turns 28 today! Happy birthday to our Gracie! You are a light in this world my sweet girl. So much heart, soul, respect, and yes, LOADS of talent!!! We hope you have the best day ever and know that you are loved beyond measure! I love you my little girl.”
