Donald Trump’s hot mic reveals what he said to Justice Roberts

These days, the news cycle seems to be moving faster than ever, dominated by constant coverage of the new Republican administration under Donald Trump.

With the flood of news comes a wave of speculation, as people closely analyze politicians and their every move. The latest controversy, however, has been addressed directly by the President himself.

Read on to find out what Donald Trump had to say.

Like any president, Donald Trump has been under intense scrutiny, with the public dissecting his every word and action. Before his recent address to Congress, a brief exchange between Trump and Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts caught attention, sparking widespread speculation.

During his speech, Trump touched on various issues, including Vladimir Putin’s “strong signals” for peace and a letter from Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky. In the letter, Zelensky expressed his desire for peace and stated that Ukraine was willing to sign the minerals deal with the U.S. whenever it was convenient.

While the speech itself made headlines, what happened beforehand caused just as much buzz. Cameras captured Trump thanking Chief Justice John Roberts, leading to wild speculation about what exactly he was grateful for.

Before rumors could gain traction, Trump took to Truth Social to set the record straight.

“The Fake ‘Play the Ref’ News, trying to drive a wedge between me and our great U.S. Supreme Court, heard me say ‘thank you’ to Chief Justice John Roberts as I walked past the Justices on my way to the podium,” Trump wrote.

He continued, “Like most people, I don’t watch Fake News CNN or MSDNC, but I hear they’re going ‘crazy’ wondering what I was thanking Justice Roberts for.”

He went on, “Of course, they never reached out to my office to ask. If they had, I would have told these sleazebag ‘journalists’ that I was thanking him for SWEARING ME IN ON INAUGURATION DAY AND DOING A REALLY GREAT JOB! The Fake News never stops!”

During his address to Congress, the war in Ukraine was a major topic. This followed what many described as a tense Oval Office meeting between Trump and Zelensky, where the U.S. president reportedly told the Ukrainian leader he was “gambling with World War 3.”

Reading from Zelensky’s letter, Trump said, “Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer.”

He added, “Nobody wants peace more than the Ukrainians. Regarding the agreement on minerals and security, Ukraine is ready to sign it at any time that is convenient for you.”

That puts an end to any speculation about Trump’s comments to Roberts. But what do you think about all of this? Share your thoughts in the comments!
