Former President Donald Trump Faces More Legal Troubles

Kelly WhitewoodBy Kelly WhitewoodOctober 28, 20241 Min Read

Increasingly, former President Donald Trump is being confronted with legal issues. It was on Thursday that he entered a not guilty plea to the charges of conspiracy, obstruction, and violating constitutional rights that were connected to the violence that occurred in the Capitol on January 6. Additionally, Manhattan prosecutors were able to obtain access to Trump’s video testimony in the defamation case involving E. Jean Carroll. In this case, Trump was found to be liable for sexual abuse, which resulted in a judgment of $5 million on his part. It is possible that this testimony may be presented during the trial of Donald Trump, which is scheduled to take place in March 2024, on charges of falsifying documents in connection with a hush-money payment made to Stormy Daniels. At the same time as he maintains his innocence, Trump believes that the probes are politically motivated.
