    ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ star, Eduardo Xol, dead one week after stabbing

    The cast member of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Eduardo Xol, passed away.

    As per the available local information, Xol passed away over a week following his stabbing incident in Palm Springs, California.

    Around 5:41 a.m. on September 10, a guy called the police and asked for help. Officers discovered Xol in an apartment with severe injuries when they arrived.

    The 58-year-old reported to authorities that someone had stabbed him, but he withheld the suspect’s identify.

    Xol was brought to the hospital in a critical but stable state. At Desert Regional Medical Center on Friday, September 20, he passed away.

    In relation to Xol’s demise, Richard Joseph Gonzales, 34, of Cathedral City, has been placed under arrest. Gonzales called the police a few hours after Xol did to report that he had been beaten the night before.

    Gonzales was detained after an inquiry indicated he was a suspect in the stabbing. The 34-year-old is currently being charged with murder, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.

    The television personality gained most notoriety for his participation in the second season of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Xol starred in a number of telenovelas in addition to the reality series about home restoration.
